                  <p>Convert a Microsoft Office document
                     to PDF

                  <p class="bodytext">You can convert an MS Office document such as .doc, .ppt,
                     and .xls to a PDF document, and insert it in Adobe Contribute web
                     pages.
                  </p>
                  <p class="bodytext">There are two ways to convert a Microsoft Word or Excel document
                     to a PDF:
                  </p>

                        <td colspan="2">In the draft, place the insertion point where you want
                           the PDF document to appear.
                        </td>

                        <td colspan="2">Select <b>Insert &gt; Document</b> as PDF.The Open
                           dialog box appears.
                        </td>
                     </tr>

                        <td colspan="2">Select an MS Office document, and then click <b>Open</b>.The
                           Insert Office Document as PDF dialog box appears.
                        </td>

                        <td colspan="2">Select one of the following options:

                                 <td><b>Insert the PDF as Embedded object</b>  converts the document to a PDF, and embeds the PDF document

                           <p class="bodytext"><strong>Note:</strong> The<b> Insert the PDF as Embedded Object</b> option
                              is disabled if your website administrator has prevented embedding
                              of PDFs.
                           </p>

                        <td colspan="2">Select the <b>Remember this setting and don't ask again</b> check
                           box, if it is required.

                        <td colspan="2">Click <b>OK</b>.Contribute converts the document to
                           a PDF document and inserts it as a link or an embedded object in
                           your draft.

                  <p class="bodytext"><b>To convert a document to PDF in Microsoft Office:</b></p>

                        <td colspan="2">Open a document in Microsoft Word or Excel.</td>

                        <td colspan="2">Select <b>Contribute &gt; Open in Contribute</b>.The
                           Open As New Page dialog box appears in Contribute.
                        </td>
                     </tr>

                        <td align="left" width="8"><b>3.</b></td>
                        <td colspan="2">Select the website where you want to place your document.</td>
                     </tr>
                     <tr valign="top">
                        <td align="left" width="8"><b>4.</b></td>
                        <td colspan="2">Click the <b>Choose Template</b> button <img src="images/tp_choose_template.png" align="top" border="0" hspace="0" vspace="0"> to
                           set an updated template for an MS Office document opened in Contribute.If
                           you do not click the <b>Choose Template</b> button in the Open as
                           New Page dialog box, the template that was last used to open a Microsoft
                           word document is associated with the document you are currently
                           opening. In addition, if this template does not match the template
                           on the server, Contribute displays the Download Template dialog
                           box. You can choose to do one of the following:Click the <b>Open</b> using
                           the old template button to open the document using the old template.Click
                           the <b>Download</b> and <b>Open</b> button to update the template
                           with changes from the server, and then open the document.
                           <p class="bodytext"><strong>Note:</strong> When
                              you click the <b>Choose Template</b> button, if the target website
                              does not have templates, a message indicating that there are no
                              templates, is displayed.
                           </p>

                        <td colspan="2">(Optional) If you selected content in the document, and want
                           to open the entire document instead of the selection, clear the <b>Open current selection</b> only
                           check box.

                        <td colspan="2">Click <b>Open</b>.The Insert Microsoft Office Document
                           dialog box appears.

                        <td colspan="2">Select one of the following options:

                           box if you do not want to be asked about the insert option in the
                           future.

                        <td colspan="2">Click <b>OK</b>.The selected template is applied to
                           the web page, and Contribute converts the document to a PDF document
                           and inserts it as a link or en embedded object in your draft.
