<td colspan="2">Browse to the page where you want to add the link, and then click the <b>Edit Page </b>button.</td>

<td width="703">Place the insertion point in the draft, select <b>Insert</b> &gt; <b>Microsoft Office document</b>. In the Open dialog box, browse to the file you want to add, and then click <b>Open</b>.</td>

<td width="703">(Windows only) Drag the file from Windows Explorer to the Contribute draft where you want the link to appear.</td>

<td colspan="2">Select <b>Convert to PDF and create a link to the PDF</b> to convert the selected document into a PDF, and insert a link to the PDF document.</td>

<td colspan="2">(Optional) Select <b>Remember this setting and don&#39;t ask again</b> check box if you do not want to be asked about the insert option in the future.</td>

<td colspan="2">Click <b>OK</b>.</td>

<td colspan="2">The document is converted to a PDF document and inserted as a link, or embedded as an object in your draft.</td>

<p class="bodytext">When you publish the draft, Contribute copies the document to your website and then links to that copy, not to the original file. </p><p class="bodytext"><strong>Note: </strong> To edit the document after you publish it, see Contribute Help about using external editors. Changes you make to the original file will not appear on your website. </p> </td>
